All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten

96年，在我跟另一位網友的生日聚會上，有一位網友送了我這本英文書：“All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten”。

“All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten”，意思是說，以後該知道的、該學會的，很多人生的大道理，其實我們在幼稚園都學會了。
作者說：
These are the things I learned:

Share Everything.
Play fair.
Don’t hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don’t take things that aren’t yours.
Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a Balanced life- learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.
Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Sytrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup- they all die. So do we.
And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned- the biggest word of all — LOOK.

在“CEO要你知道的事”一書的序言，也有此書的介紹：

一本談論生活體驗的人生書──All I Really Need to Know, I learned in Kindergarten。這也是提醒世間人，滾滾紅塵，何不回到純真的童年（Back to Childhood，B to C），回想爸爸媽媽或是幼稚園小學的老師教導我們人生基本的道理，
例如：
不可以拿別人的東西（尊重財產權、隱私權、智財權）、
分享時刻（溝通、互動、簡報）、
撞到別人要說「對不起」（處理衝突、給人麻煩）、
「馬路如虎口，過馬路要牽手」（面對危險時要互助合作）等等。
我們不必太擔憂新科技、新人類、新經濟會導致我們無法適應新的挑戰，其實我們在小時候和在路邊攤學到的基本功夫，只要能學好它、活用它、昇華它，雖不中亦不遠矣。為人處世的基本面和企業經營的基本面相似，都是在提醒我們簡單就是美，回到原點，根基打好，就能夠不斷茁壯，迎向變化與挑戰。

寫這篇文，是希望提醒自己不要忘記在幼稚園已經學會的事。
