常看到網友search 這首歌而到了這地方.
其實早前都曾經將這首歌放到Radio Blog, 忍不住, 再來一次! :wink:
中文歌詞, 亦譯得很好, 譯者的感言亦很有意思.

這首歌, 我是看宮崎駿的“歲月的童話”而知的, 後來在家學彈琴時亦學過.
到很久之後, 才知道歌詞是這樣的好.

這首歌擅用比喻，內容平順，箇中的道理卻令人體會深刻，只可惜翻譯時無法音韻兼顧，只能捨形取義了。No rose without a thorn. (不經苦痛就沒有完整的愛)，渴望愛情又怕受傷害，這是一種矛盾的心理。愛情是什麼？怎麼去愛？Bette Midler在這首The Rose裡說得很清楚，身陷愛情的泥沼時，理性與感性已很難劃清，但是歌裡對愛情的堅定信念著實令人動容！
